Position Summary:

This position is held by a full time sales associate. The Assistant Manager is responsible for the store and all store matters. Sales Associates will direct questions and concerns to the Assistant Manager. The main responsibility of the Assistant Manager is to oversee the daily operations of the store, ensuring that the store is successful and efficient, in addition to overseeing the “big picture” of FOUNT’s retail stores. The Assistant Manager reports directly to the District Manager.

The Role of a Sales Associate is to:
  • Effectively lead a strong team of 8-10+ employees
  • Clearly communicate store improvements, customer issues, team challenges, etc., to the District Manager when needed.
  • Create and manage monthly schedule
  • Submit weekly sales and feedback reports to District Manager
  • Handle weekly store tasks that include, but are not limited to:
  • Handle daily customer service questions and concerns
  • Troubleshoot any technical issues with POS system
  • Assist and oversee customers with their FOUNT shopping experience
  • Delegate/handle daily operational, opening, and closing tasks
  • Possess a set of keys for opening and closing
  • Assist in the new hire training and on-boarding process
  • Ensure sales associates are taking assigned shift breaks
  • Ensure sales associates are staying busy with customers and tasks throughout their shift
  • Enhance work culture with an encouraging and positive attitude
  • Oversee the Columbus Sales team on daily tasks/questions  when both the District Manager and Columbus Store Manager are not available.
  • Define and exemplify behaviors that create lasting team/customer relationships  and portray FOUNT at all times
  • Diligently maintain a well organized and aesthetically appealing store, making sure the product is stocked and effectively merchandised
  • Maintaining housekeeping inventory and orders for the store such as cleaning products, complimentary beverages, and miscellaneous items
  • Brainstorm ideas and projects that would improve the store’s work culture and customer experience as needed
  • Coordinate employee outings and holiday and in-store event preparation, directed by District Manager
  • Assist the District Manager with miscellaneous projects and tasks
  • Bank cash deposits

  • 2 years related retail experience preferred.
  • High school diploma required.
    Required Availability:
    • Weekdays (10:30- 7:30) and weekends (10:30-8:30)

    • Available during holidays such as Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Fourth of July, etc.

    • Flexible to work in-store events in the evenings.

    • Available to work 36-40 hours per week.
