SEASONAL SHIPPING ROOM ASSISTANT (CLEVELAND STUDIO)

Position Summary:

The seasonal shipping room assistant will be responsible for assisting with FOUNT’s online orders and customer service. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of or the ability to learn FOUNT’s product line, inventory system, packaging processes, and shipping procedures. They will have experience in customer service and/or retail and the ability to represent FOUNT when communicating with clients. Flexibility in schedule, use of own car, and a clean driving record are required. Candidates must be available from November 2018 through December 21, 2018 with the potential to work through the beginning of January 2019.

The Role of a Shipping Room Assistant is to:

  • Assist with overall shipping procedures

  • Create and print packing slips and shipping labels

  • Create and send invoices via email

  • Follow up with status of custom orders with production team

  • Learn FOUNT’s product line and inventory system

  • Act as the “face” of FOUNT via email and telephone

  • Respond to clients’ emails in a friendly and professional manner

  • Answer clients’ calls in a friendly and professional manner

  • Record and track client inquiries when follow up is required

Preferred Applicant Skills:

  • Excellent organization skills to eliminate errors in shipments

  • Excellent packaging skills to ensure items arrive beautifully packaged

  • Excellent efficiency and time management skills

  • Ability to prioritize tasks

  • Ability to pack and deliver product to stores and pop up shops

  • Must have use of own car with clean driving record

  • May be required to lift up to 40 lbs
